I started lampworking 7 years ago, it started out with me watching someone make a vase at an art show, and then when I was browsing at the show, I noticed some beaded jewelry and they were made out of glass and I was hooked. 

I started taking classes all around the US and practice, practice and practice, then I also went to a class on fusing and found this medium was also interesting and you could get so many different reactions making glass this way, so I delved into that, and I also liked the whole wire thing and am still learning ways to work with it, to use in the designing of my jewelry.  I like the feel of glass, the depth you can get in glass, and the never ending different ways you can work with it. 

I have also started to have alittle interest in sand blasing on glass, the three dimentional and depths you can work in the glass with blasting is amazing, however at this point in my life, I am saving up for a huge air compressor so that I can get the 3 dimentional depth I had while working in my class in Oregon.
